About The Bride
Susan was born on April 22, 1981 to Dick and Marilyn Green in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She was an extremely cute baby. (Cuteness would follow her through her life.) This trait was not lost on her older sister and brother - Karen and Brian. The two, according to Susan, lovingly but mercilessly tortured her until middle school. This might be an exaggeration as the two tormenters would become her best friends - Karen passing on her deep love of napping and Brian his skills in lying on the couch watching sports. Later Susan completed a highly successful career at Cardinal Gibbons High School. As she said, “Dude, I ruled.” (This author was unable to verify this statement despite numerous interviews with classmates.)
Susan followed her sister Karen to the Delta Zeta sorority at Auburn University (the Harvard of north east Alabama). There, she majored in Business Administration, SEC football, and Mixology. She graduated in each with honors. During the summers after her junior and senior years, she lived with her vivacious Aunt Carol and handsome Uncle Dan (your author) at their cabin on Lake Tahoe, California. During that time Susan learned a deep abiding love for the Sierra Nevada Mountains, an appreciation of environmental issues and how to serve Wet Woody’s. (It’s a cocktail)
After graduation, Susan moved to the southern California beach town of Hermosa Beach living with her cousin and co-maid of honor Kristi - a block from her brother Brian. She soon fell in with a non-profit organization dedicated to world peace, the eradication of hunger and flag football known as “The Blackout Crew.” She has for the last six years worked for The Discovery Networks in national advertising sales. She continues her passion for sports of all kinds, entertaining and cooking. Her cheesy (as in lots of cheese, not like dorky) au gratin potatoes are legendary in many culinary circles of the left coast.
In her spare time, Susan enjoys traveling back to her home state Florida to catch up with family and the ninety-five per cent humidity, visiting college friends and fist sized mosquitoes in Alabama and relaxing with more very cool family in Northern California. Mostly however, she likes relaxing on the couch with her cat Milo, dog Bailey and his furry cousins Bam, Cooper, Bentley and Wrigley. (It’s a big couch.)

About The Groom
Corey was born in Boston, Massachusetts on March 3, 1974 (almost seven years before Susan but who’s counting) to Bob Crawford and Linda Crawford-Willey. He was a cute baby, but compared with his spectacularly cuddly sister Tiffany, no one really noticed. He grew up in the very small town (population 1352) of Conyngham Pennsylvania. It is a community famous for the Sugarloaf Massacre of 1780 (something to do with the Iroquois Indians) and the youth exploits of Corey in baseball, ice hockey, golf, snow skiing and whiffle ball. He was well known as the “Emperor of Whispering Pines Park.” He later moved to the much larger town of Dallas, PA and gained the urban savoir faire for which he is now famous. (Dallas has a population of 2554). Dallas, of course, was named after the sixth Secretary of the Treasury, Alexander Dallas. (But you probably knew that already.) According to Wikipedia, the most famous person from Dallas other than Alexander and Tiffany was Greg Manusky, the 49ers current defensive co-coordinator. Legend has it that Corey owed him on what ever field of play was in issue.
Corey attended The Ohio State University where his beloved Buckeyes regularly trashed your author’s Not-So-Fighting Illini. Following college, Corey moved to California to pursue his dream of playing pro golf. He competed on the Southern California Mini Golf Tour (No not miniature golf tour, although he is really good at miniature golf, but a satellite tour for talented rookie players.) Despite success, he decided to move on and start his real estate career. “I thought it might be nice to actually have money for food for a change.” He established his own successful company - Trophy Homes in 2004. (I know what you are thinking – “He has a trophy company. Now he is getting the trophy wife.” It’s true - he is a lucky guy.)
Corey enjoys skiing at Mammoth, hiking at Lake Tahoe, destroying his friends and uncle-to-be in golf, hanging with his nieces and nephew and sometimes getting to be on the couch with Susan and all the animals.
